A wheat doppelbock beer created in 1907 brewed to original bottle fermentation. To make their wheat beers, Schneider-Weisse use clear spring water from deep wells within the Jurassic rock which surrounds the Brauerei. The preferred wheat comes from the upper Altmühltal, Lower Bavaria and Upper Palatinate regions. The strictest quality measures are applied to the source of brewing wheat. Alcohol 8.2%

Dark ruby, almost black in colour, streaked with fine top fermenting yeast, this beer has a compact and persistent head. Schneider Weisse Aventinus is a very intense wheat doppelbock with a complex spicy chocolate aroma, a hint of bananas and raisin. On the palate, you experience a soft touch whilst on the tongue it is very rich and complex, though fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes to a rich soft and lightly bitter impression
